2nd Day:
we went to their schools. we did morning exercise with them. the music goes like this: " satu, dua, tiga, umapat.... " that's what i heard. very rythmic. Sweet~
then, we attended their lessons.
to my, or to OUR suprise, their dance is SUPERB!!!
they danced hip-hop!!!
OMG!!! so cool!!! i hope our school have a hiphop dance club or cca....
they danced until so well....
most importantly, their not embarrased even though all almost everyone was looking at them. that's the spirit!!~ COOL!
then, after break time, it's our turn to teach them.
their classrooms have only 1 fan. lights are very dim. tables are shared. teacher have only a small shelf to put their things. they have 1/2 blackboard, and 1/2 white board.
they were rather mischievous. in the sense that they dont really listen to us or respect us when we teach them. only SOME do.
some of us got quite fed up. but well, that's the life of being a teacher i guess?
( PS : IM NEVER GOING TO BE A TEACHER NEXT TIME!!)
i got quite upset about the whole thing.
my mood was totally ruin at the end of the lesson.
but i just contain my anger, and let it subside...
i dont know why im angry or what im angry at anyway. ( weird huh? )
it's so hard to breathe at that instant.
is it a sign of an incoming asthma?
maybe. or maybe because it's time to eat my medicine.( i was sick )
then, we went back to the hotel. we checked out.
nothing missing? great. off we go!~
NO!~ not yet!~ there's still lunch. but most of us are too tired to eat.
no appetite. so rachel, enqi and me shared a packet of rice.
you cant imagine how big the packet of rice is, unless you see it for yourself.
then, finally, FINALLY, we got onto the bus and was going to head to the custom.
BUT!!
(see! why does this always happen! all the things just crops up last minute! grr..)
a shop keeper suspect that one of us stole her doll.
in fact, according to the CCTV, the person took that doll and ENTER the shop. Not LEAVE! Ms Ho and us( again, we sat with the teachers) were like chatting " it's not our fault right. they cant blame on us for not being able to find their doll. they have no evidence of us stealing it. they have no rights to stop us." anyway,i dont think any one of us would want the doll either.
so it's sort of solved and we went straight to the custom.
i was afraid to sleep on the wooden bus. (scared that it'll knock my head; the ceiling was very low)
i prayed hard for my friend and hope she dont have to give anymore money to them. and yes~ nothing happened.
BUT!!
(argh... this always happen.)
the ferry tickets were given to us wrongly. it is not our name.
"chaos" started... everyone was blurred, confused and didnt know what to do.
nevertheless, the problem was solved eventually and we boarded the ferry.
somehow, my instincts was right. i knew i couldnt sleep first because i knew something was wrong. 5 of our friends are not able to board as their passports were missing. i dont know what happened, but eventually, again, the problem was solved.
finally, i can sleep... peacefully... listening to my ear piece, blasting loud musics into my ear to block out all those noises...
i think i slept for quite a long time.
then...

♥ HOME SWEET HOME!
YAY!!!~ SINGAPORE! MY HOMELAND!~
I MISSES YOU SO DEARLY!~
THE FRESH AIR, THE CLEAN WATER, AND THE DELICIOUS DELICACIES!!~
HOME SWEET HOME!!!!!!!!!
=D
okay. let's talk about the trip.
First day:
We reached school, went to the ISH, boarded the bus, and into the ferry.
we sat at the bottom part of the ferry.
wenhui, me, rachel, and enqi sat together in a row.
everyone was excited. you can just hear clearly all the chit-chats on the ferry.
well, i guess we're making a rackus >_<"l...
but the funny thing is that, i keep psycho-ing myself that i've no sea sick or whatever, while the boys are like "oh, i've got sea sick..." or some even worse!
they tried to make the people who have sea sick to imagine that the ferry is very rocky etc. when the ferry havent even start -.-" "you're now in the middle of the sea... the waves became more rocky... now the whole ferry is shaking..."
and im like " you guys are so bad!~"
we've reached the custom of karimun (finally). every one of us are able to pass through the custom... but one of us were held back.
the custom police there actually demand our Myanmar friend $30 when she had already paid $70!! then yes. she was held back. all of us were blurred and confused then.
" who got held back? why? what will happen to her?"
then finally, after eating the food, which is... white bee hoon with some egg and meat and going for toilet breaks, she finally came!~
phew... nothing really bad had happened to her. that's a real relief.
so we took their wooden buses to the mountain.
OMG! i LOVE the wooden buses!! they're so mini, so cool!!!
we had lots of fun in the bus laughing, chit-chatting,and looking at those natural scenery.
oh by the way, there are no aircons. there's only wind. But that's the part where i like. the bus is sooo cute! i guess transportation was not the problem there. oh, and i saw many people riding bikes (motocycles).
some 3 or even 4 people per bike!~ seems like the children there are very experienced. they do not have to hold onto their parent's waist when the bikes starts! it's very scary to imagine what would happen if they lose their grip and just fall of the bike. ~_~....
but anyway, we've reached the mountain. we climbed for a distance. quite steep at first. then we reached a rest house.
THAT, was only the beginning. we then do some warm ups and off we go!~
to the summit of the mountain!
while climbing the mountain, all of us were quite breathless and thirsty.
but we persevered and continue to give each other positive encouragements!~
at some parts, the slope was just way too steep.
thus, we have to start to crawl on fours.
we dug our nails/fingers into the mud and tries very hard to push ourselves up.
(btw, i sort of like the feeling of the cool, soft mud =D )
my throat was very soar. i cant even speak as it burns whenever i do so.
but i took a few sip of water and continued. many a times, i feel like giving up just like that. but no! i cant. im thinking...
" if they (the other classes )can reach the summit, why cant i? i cant be a weakling right? imagine how you would feel after you've completed the whole thing. i know you would like the feeling. the feeling of self-satisfactory; as if you've accomplished something in your life."
and so, i continued.
we, the girls helped one another more on the way up.
the boys?? well... cant depend much on them.
they're too shy to help.
hahax. all they know is to give negative comments.
but it's sort of fun >_<"l...
our instructor told us that we'll be asking him one question. and that's :
" how long more?"
hahax. i forced myself to think positively. i prevent thinking how long left to go to reach the summit. all i thought was i've already climbed that far. i cant possibly give up now. not now. if they can do it, we can and i can too.
then we've finally made it.
i felt happy, satisfied and a bit annoyed.
why?
i expected a beautiful scenery up there where we can see the sea, the forest, and everything from above!( just like bukit timah hill)
HOWEVER
i can only see one thing.
a huge piece of rock where everyone is resting.
i was like =_="l............................................................
okay nevermind. at least i've reached the top =D
the instructors and the teachers are very kind.
they keep motivating us to continue.
on the journey up there, i know we must carry on even if we fall.
the only thing to prevent us from sliding further downwards due to the steep gradient of the land is to continue climbing. no stopping. once you stop, you'll find yourself sliding down.
so yes. so we rested on the rocks, ate and rest.
i asked if any one needed plaster or antiseptic cream because i heard some people got some cuts. then i applied onto their wounds/ scratches.
just when we think that the ordeal is over, we got a shock.
climbing downhill is MUCH MUCH MORE TOUGHER!!!
we have to bend low, or even slide down.
all our buttocks and hands have muds ><
some of their track pants even split >_<"l...
at that time, i dont care how dirty my hands are. i just dont want to "die" there hahax
safety first. always.
but weirdly, i really really like the touch of those muds.
sad to say, i fell down quite a lot of times. i even hurt my elbow when i accidentally brushed my them against the super rough surface boulders. oh ya, and on the way up, i was too busy looking down that my head knocked against a tree branch very hard. Ouch!~
there, i learnt a lesson. always be aware of your surroundings. not just the trail.
but some of the guys from my class are rather good i must say?
they helped e when i fell or almost fell.
even though walking downhill is not as breathless as walking uphill, it's equally challenging. you have to use your instincts. and for me, i tried to grab any tree trunks i can see.
the guys then start some ridiculous jokes about what combo etc.
like they slided, but managed to survive.
so it's like when it's a close shave, they'll say "wow. mega combo!~ " etc.
and im thinking " do you know it's super dangerous!"
but anyway, it's really a close shave.
there was one time where we have to cross somewhere steep, ( i was alone as the people in front walked very fast and people behind are still lagging ) i slided and nearly fall into a deep hole. OMG right? and Ouch.
but i just continued. soon, and finally, we've made it. we've completed trekking the mountain in a total of 3+ hours!~ the best timing compared among the 3 groups that went to karimun. Yay!~ and the best is, No One Gave Up!!~
Three cheers!!~
Hiphip, hurray!
but the lunch was... well, it doesnt suit my appetite. but im just happy that at least we've got something to drink and eat. we got to learn to appreciate stuff, and stop grumbling.
then, we proceed back to the hotel where the instructors brief us about what's going to happen later. 4 person per room, 1 queen size bed, 2 pillows. wow. but we called for room service to get extra 2 pillows =P
just be happy that we've got a bed to sleep, and not somewhere in the forest in some camping bags or tents.
So we took turns to bathe.
Aww~~~ the water feels so great on your skin!~
i can just stay inside forever... but people still need to bathe and wash their hair. so chop-chop. i quickly went to shower. hmm... about 10 mins i think. not bad >< it's rather fast. but my hair is wet =_="... i hate it. there's no hair dryer either. so sad T_T that's why i just use my towel to dry my hair. make it as dry as possible.
hahax. we were late for dinner. everyone was waiting.
the dinner was... okay.
dont want to go into detail.
just want to say that i didnt really finish everything but my friends did.
they snatched my cracker from my bowl hahahaaha~
and even though the banana looked rotten from the outside, it's actually very delicious =)
so after mr loh shared with us some history of Singapore, like "What would happen is Stamford Raffles chose Karimun as the trading port instead of Singapore" etc. , we can finally eat.
and after that, we went pasar malam. i bought some soveniors for my little cousins ^^
the girls basically. because i cant seem to get what the boys will like.
all i saw was necklaces, ear rings, bracelets etc. those girly girly stuff.
there wasnt much time for us to shop either.
and we (me,rachel, enqi, pat and some other people) were late. yes. we were late again.
there wasnt any seats left for us, therefore, we sat in the bus with the teachers.
hahax, it's not as boring as you think.
sitting with the teachers are fun too!
( btw, if i dont remember wrongly, jarred, pat, yangcherh, honwen, yizhao, enqi,me and rachel were the only students in the bus)
mr loh wanted us to sing our way home, then he digress and chat about sports day, like commonwealth let alexandra win etc. then here comes the funniest part :
YangCherh (YC): mr loh, when's your birthday?
Mr Loh (ML) : why? want to give me present?
YC: ya, i want to buy hair gel for you.
ML: No, i dont need hair gel. but i can use it for my leg hair.
LOL!!!!!!!!!! hahax!!!
YC so "brave"~ dare to talk to a teacher like that.
but ML didnt get angry. he just continued the joke. LOL
so we've finally reached the hotel, and (skip some parts) we went to sleep.
Super Tired!!! i was super tired. but due to some reasons we cant sleep yet. some things are not done yet. so in the end, i slept at 12+ am.
the aircon was cold. i woke up almost every hour in the night =_="l..., checking my hp for the time, afraid of getting late.
so in the end, i woke up at 5am and start to wash up as well as packing my things.
(2nd day continued in another post. too long >< )

♥ Anticipating
We'll be going to Karimun the day after tomorrow!~
i'll be looking forward to it ^^
but...
i think i'll look like a turtle due to the HUGE bag that im going to carry!
Actually, i wanted to bring a luggage bag.
But i supposed i'll looked weird.
(And due to the fact that i dont know if we're allowed to bring it >_<"l)
i hope to know more about the delicious delicacies there, their culture, their standard of education, and what kind of activities they would play during their free time =D
I'm really looking forward to 2nd day of the camp where my class 3A would be going to their schools to teach them English.
actually, i was really hoping we could go to the tidal village.
( Well... it sounded so old, dirty, BUT COOL!~ the purpose of the camp should be experiencing things that we cant get in SG. But... too bad for us, we cant go there T_T 3B will be going there instead.)
But anyway, since we cant change the fact that this is the arrangement made, and it is compulsory, why not use the great opportunity to have FUN?
"When life gives you lemon, You make lemonade" =D
Isn't it true?
Rather than sulking and complaining so much, why not make good use of the time?
I'm sure we'll have LOTS OF FUN!~
I will be looking forward to going Karimun!~ =D
( i hope i didn't miss out any important stuff while packing =S )
i'll be looking forward to it ^^
but...
i think i'll look like a turtle due to the HUGE bag that im going to carry!

♥ Packing Stuff
Hello!~ it's real late now but i must still blog about some things on karimun.
(might get scolded if i dont >_<"l )
okay then. i've just packed finish my stuff for karimun.
it's only some items that are missing ; waterbottle, money .
im rather excited for the trip to karimun!~
Both the climbing of mountain and lessons.
i hope it will not rain on the first day as this might be the "end" of our adventure.
but anyway, i was thinking...
if the tracks are muddy,it'll be fun =D
but hold on! this means that our shoes, socks, and track pants will be super dirty!~
hahax!~
But it's all part of the fun isn't it?
Yup! that's all for today.
(Have to get plenty of sleep as i dont wish to get sick. All i want is my throat to get better ASAP!)
